York Wicked Shirt
What should i wear when i go see wicked on broadway?
I want to be comfortable, because well be walking around new york all day, but i still want to look nice. and ive seen the play before, and would like for my outfit to reflect the play slightly. so i was thinking:
-a nice, knee length black skirt
-a grahic-less shirt, either purple, dark green, or black
-black flats
-a few pieces of low-key-but-nice jewlery
i also found a tutorial for elphaba-inspired eye makeup on youtube, and i was going to do that. is that tacky?
and i was going to leave my long, curly, black hair down.
is this appropriate?
It sounds just fine. People in New York are well accustomed to seeing fans of the ‘great white way’ enjoying the spectacle and excitement of taking in a Broadway production. You might consider a pair of walking shoes for the day’s activities, but carry with you a nicer pair of shoes to change into for the theater to dress up your ensemble.
