ON “I LOVE NEW YORK” Tthe tv show show..DO YOU THINK THEY ARE RACIST?
on the tv show “i love new york” where th black girl and her mom are seeking a boyfriend for new york(the daughter)…the mum says that the food one of the “would be boyfriends” looked like “white trash” now if this was the other way around,,,surely there would be uproar from the black community if something was said about using a ‘term” for black people……how wrong is that !!!???
I think it is very racist!!! If on Rock of Love that Bret Michaels loser had said “THAT IS SOOOO GHETTO!!” about something his show probably would have been canceled. And he would have been labeled as a racist forever. It is such a double standard.

It was adapted from the novel Hollywood Girl (1929) by J. P. McEvoy. Show Girl in Hollywood was released on DVD as part of the Warner Archive Collection on December 1, 2009. Al Jolson (and his wife Ruby Keeler), Noah Beery (with his son), Walter Pidgeon, and Loretta Young make a cameo appearance in this film in the final reel, which was photographed in Technicolor. All four of these actors were big stars for Warner Bros. in 1930 but only four of them (Jolson, Keeler, Pidgeon, and Young) maintained their popularity beyond the early talkie period. The film only survives in black and white. The last reel was originally in Technicolor but no color prints seem to have survived.
