What is a good christmas present for my mom?
I need to get a really good christmas present for my mom, but I’m only 14 so I can’t really buy anything expensive. I have $150. I want to make her something, but I don’t want to make anything tacky. I always make her a card or a photo album. I want to make something different. My major at school is art, so I really want to make her something crafty but I dont kno what.
I actually found this place on the internet that’s two blocks away from my school, it’s called Family Jewels. They sell vintage clothes there and I thought the clothes there would be nice for her. But I don’t if the place is too expensive or not. I’m looking for a store that sells 80′s rocker tees, but I doubt they would sell clothing like that. I need some help. Whether its something I could make or buy, your advice would really help. Thank You.
P.S. My school is in Manhattan between 7th and 8th avenue on 24th street, and I live in Queens. So if you kno any stores near by, please let me kno.
I have had this problem allot of times and i have a few ways you can avoid it..
1. Make something from the heart, like a poem or even a paragraph or a card explaining and thanking your mom for everything she has done for you, since you are good at art, draw her a picture, my brother drew my mom a picture with a angel and her name above of it and she loved it!
2.Your mom my of had her eyes on a nice pair of shoes, or jeans, or even jewelry, try getting her that and she will really appreciate it. but i think a paragraph is more better because you put allot of your words and thoughts into it
