Summer programs in London? ?
I’m looking for summer programs in london having to do with theatre and/ or the arts (writing, photography ect)
something for college credits or tht would just look good on a college app and also be a good expirience…anyway, if you have any ideas, its ok if its outside of london too.
ps- il be 16, going into 11th grade.
Try imperial college of London. I’m actually doing my summer study at London School of Economics.
I wouldnt want to go outside of London. There is so much traffic and it takes so long to get to the center (Ex : if you went to exeter).
Also you could try cambridge, but their programs are a little pricey.

Peacock Theatre $74.88 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Peacock Theatre is a West End theatre in the City of Westminster, located in Portugal Street, near Aldwych. The 999seat house is owned by, and comprises part of the London School of Economics and Political Science campus, who utilise the theatre for lectures, public talks, conferences, political speeches and open days. The university has a long lease with Londons principal centre for contemporary dance, Sadlers Wells, with whom it has negotiated a deal to bring in dance companies under the banner Sadlers Wells in the West End. The venue often plays host to dance performances, conferences, ballet, pop concerts and award ceremonies. The stage is approximately 36 feet (11 m) by 33 feet (10 m). Gibbons Tennis Court became used as a theatre on this site in the 17th century. In 1911, the London Opera House opened on this site, becoming the National Theatre of England, three years later. Abbey Theatre $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Abbey Theatre, also known as the National Theatre of Ireland, is a theatre located in Dublin, Ireland. The Abbey first opened its doors to the public on 27 December 1904. Despite losing its original building to a fire in 1951, it has remained active to the present day. The Abbey was the first statesubsidized theatre in the Englishspeaking world; from 1925 onwards it received an annual subsidy from the Irish Free State. Since July 1966, the Abbey has been located at 26 Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1. In its early years, the theatre was closely associated with the writers of the Irish Literary Revival, many of whom were involved in its founding and most of whom had plays staged there. The Abbey served as a nursery for many of the leading Irish playwrights and actors of the 20th century, including William Butler Yeats, Lady Gregory Augusta, Sean OCasey and John Millington Synge. In addition, through its extensive programme of touring abroad and its high visibility to foreign, particularly American, audiences, it has become an important part of the Irish tourist industry. Shaftesbury Theatre $98.77 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Shaftesbury Theatre is a West End Theatre, located on Shaftesbury Avenue, in the London Borough of Camden. The theatre was designed for the brothers Walter and Frederick Melville by Bertie Crewe and opened on 26 December 1911 with a production of The Three Musketeers, as the New Princes Theatre, becoming the Princes Theatre in 1914. It had a capacity of 2,392 and a stage 31 10 wide by 31 deep. The Princes was the last theatre to be built in Shaftesbury Avenue, and is located near New Oxford Street, perhaps explaining the many gaps between performances in its early years. It had considerable success with an 18 week season of Gilbert and Sullivan operas, presented by the DOyly Carte Opera Company, in 1919. These became a regular attraction at the theatre in the 1920s, interspersed with runs of theatre productions transferred from other venues. Q Theatre $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Q Theatre, seating 490 in 25 rows with a central aisle, was opened in 1924 near Kew Bridge in west London by Jack and Beatie de Leon, and was one of a number of small, committed, independent theatre companies which included the Hampstead Everyman, the Arts Theatre Club and the Gate Theatre Studio. These theatres took risks by producing new and experimental plays which, although often at first thought to be commercially unviable on the WestEnd stage, later went on to transfer successfully. Actors including Dirk Bogarde, Joan Collins, Vivien Leigh, Margaret Lockwood and Anthony Quayle started their theatrical careers here. Peter Brook, Tony Richardson and William Gaskell directed plays here and the theatre staged the first plays of Terence Rattigan and William DouglasHome. The new enterprise was originally advertised as A Bright, Cosy Theatre for the presentation of successful WEST END PLAYS. Opening night was scheduled for September 1924, but the doors finally opened to the public on Boxing Day 26 December 1924 with a production of Gertrude Jennings The Young Person in Pink.
