Frame Non Glare

How do you photograph a painting in a frame with glass.?
The glass cannot be removed and it is not non-glare glass. I need to take a good photo of this picture but always get reflections back in the glass.
A polarizer will help and bouncing the flash away is useful.
Try to not use a flash but light the area around the photo with ambient light instead, open your aperture about two stops and slow your shutter speed down.
