home cinema like hugh hefner reel film (old schoo)?
is it still possible or even feasible to buy the reel and make an old school home theatre. would like to watch just old school movies like goldfinger and james bonds like it came out origionally in the 60s. Also maybe groundhog day is a good old movie to watch. retro rules audiophile!!!
If you have enough money, anything is possible, but why would you do it? 35mm films weigh up to seventy pounds, the reels have to be changed every 20-25 minutes, and film breaks, and you lose a few frames each time you repair it. 35mm projectors are extremely heavy, loud, hot, and expensive to maintain. Go digital and decorate the room like a 1930′s movie palace, you’ll be much happier.
