Speeding ticket…not signed.?
Hi. I just got a ticket in b.c. for not displaying my “N”. The cop handed me the ticket but forgot to get me to sign it at the bottom. I looked at the ticket when i got home and something is written where I was supposed to sign. I think the cop signed the ticket himself by mistake. Do you think that since I didn’t sign the ticket I would have a good case to dispute the ticket, and win?
Sorry Hal, but unlike your stupid laws, in canada, we dont have warrants out for our arrest if we don’t pay a ticket.

If you hire a lawyer to represent you in court they can get it dismissed. If anything is wrong on a ticket(mis-spelled words etc.) it will be thrown out. The yellow pages has lawyers in it that advertise this type of thing. I had two thrown out that only cost me 50.00 each. which is better than paying the fine and an increase in your insurance cost. This may or may not depend on the state your in but it works in Dallas TX.
