What does a playbill look like?

I know that its like a brochure, but what does it contain? Is it like the producer’s name and also the cast? Cause my teacher is having me design a poster for the play and the playbill. And the drafts are due Friday.

a playbill is a small booklet that gives information about the show far beyond simple title, location, direction, and playwright (as well as advertisements and often dates for upcoming shows at the same theatre). This includes the names of the cast and their roles, the crew, Bios of the cast, designers and artistic and management staff (directors, producers, stage managers etc). List of the management of that particular theater, it will often contain a page written by the director to the audience and sometimes dramaturgical information. If it is a new play the playwright may have something in there as well. I should mention that not all shows technically have a “playbill” only a specific company makes them for shows. Often it is just called a program but everything else is the same.
