Which musical CD should I buy?
I’m going to buy Assassins next week and probably one more. But I can’t decide which!
My wish list includes:
Fiddler on the Roof – motion picture soundtrack
Company – 2006 version with Raul Esparza
Hello, Dolly! – the original stage version with Carol Channing
Thoroughly Modern Millie – original Broadway cast
Aida – Elton John and Tim Rice
Mary Poppins – original London cast
Beauty and the Beast – original Broadway cast
Cage aux Folles – original Broadway cast
Just looking for opinions. Which would you recommend buying?
Aida definitely. It’s possibly one of the best musicals out there. My friend introduced me to it a few years back and I haven’t stopped listening to it since. If you’re undecided about what you should buy definitely check out iTunes and listen to the little blurbs of each song and decide that way.
